Catch The Wave Part 2 – The Science of Peace and Happiness
Saturday January 2 at 7:00 PM
Unitarian Universalist Church of Albany
405 Washington Ave, Albany, NY 12206
“The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.” Benjamin Franklin
There is a reason why our forefathers included “the pursuit of happiness” in the United States Declaration of Independence. Pursuing happiness is not just for personal gain, it benefits society as a whole. People who are happier, give more, love better and even live longer. Albany Peace Project founder, Bethany Gonyea will share with us what science has been discovering about happiness, and how biofeedback and mindfulness dramatically enhances happiness levels, which enhances people’s willingness to be of service to the greater good. The pursuit of happiness has the tragic propensity to bring great misery when we pursue the wrong things. After attending this event, you will be able to discern worthy happiness pursuits that are guaranteed to dramatically increase your peace and happiness.
We are also fortunate to have the musical group The Souls of Evolution, with featured guest Joy Adler performing as well.
