Marvel at local talent and learn how this powerful technology transforms people’s lives! And creates miles of smiles at the same time!

This program is a benefit to support the landmark research being conducted by the Albany Peace Project, in conjunction with the Schenectady Peace Project and The Global Peaceful Cities Project.

Most of the yoga that we practice in the west stems from the tradition of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya and the senior teachers he taught who recognized that to teach people about the amazing gifts of yoga he had to first get their attention. Tirumalai Krishnamacharya traveled throughout India giving lectures and yoga demonstrations for decades inspiring thousands of people to undergo the discipline of yoga for personal transformation.

This event will showcase the dedication, diligence and determination of our Capital Regions senior teachers and practitioners to demonstrate yoga’s benefits for facilitating both physical, mental and emotional mastery which requires a great depth of inner peace and resilience. Through advanced asana demonstrations, spoken word on the history and philosophy of yoga, chanting and meditation, experience how this powerful scientific technology transforms peoples lives. Many opportunities to smile and laugh as well!”
